my husband and i will be travelling to langkawi next month and scouting for a property to buy there too. budget rm150-400k..currently living in KL, we wish to settle there eventually.Greatly apreciate any help.
looking for residential land,house or condo. anyone selling any century suria unit? what is the new condo called in telaga bay? It was in the midst of construction the last time i was there.thank you! ;)

Hi, I don't think it's a good idea to be living in Century Suria. The management rent the units out to the tourists. You will have different neighbour everyday :-\ What about CHOGM Villa ? It's a town house concept with all the facilities of a condo ...

Browsing around 'Langkawi' and discovered this forum.
We arrived here, my Malaysian wife, my son and me almost 2 years ago.
Some 6 years ago, the good Vennie above showed us some properties, he might have forgotten, amongst them Cogm Villa, we ended up buying in:
Century Suria! ;)
and I do not regret it.
However Vennie being an 'agent' for Cgm-Villa it is understandable.
What is important is the new 'FIC' rules: Buying ABOVE RM 250.000 there is no need for a FIC. Trying to by below and apply for an FIC You might run into an endless system.

we are interested in Century Suria. Isnt there another low rise apart/condo that was being built nearby? We will be visiting Langkawi very soon. looking forward to house hunting. Please post me mess asap. Thank you.

There is for the time being not much in progress that fits into the FIC rules. What is allready completed like Century Suria, Chgm Villa, Istana, Lagenda (part of Chgm Villa) might be the options. Any info You need, just mail me. You may Google my username, and You get to my homepage (on top) with e-mails etc,. Even a link to Century Suria with some more info.
Whatever You are looking for, whatever You want to buy, I might be able to give You some hints. There are some 'basics' to watch out for. And the best part: at no costs, just a 'hobby'.
