Hey Guys,
My hubby wants to practise his road cycling in Langkawi next month as he believes the roads are quiet and safe (not to mention that the Tour De Langkawi is held there).
Appreciate if someone can give us answers to the following:-
Are there any bicycle shops on the island if any repairs need to be done to his bike?
What would be a good and safe cycling route on the island?
We'll be there for about 10 days, so I'm thinking an apartment with cooking facilities might be better as I do not wish to feed jar foods for the entire duration to my 10 month old baby, and hawker/hotel food to my 2 1/2 year old. Any recommendation on apartments?
Thanks in advance.

Hi, the regular rote used by most of the cyclist is cycling around the island. From town to Padang Lalang ( East side )and back to town from the West side. There's several bicycle shop which can do repair and other stuffs. As for the apartment, I think it's better to stay a Kondo Istana in the town where you can walk to shops and buy what you need daily =)

There is a cycle shop in Kuah Town, its just by the junction of Padang Matsirat, by the sculpture in front of the fishing shop. He does not sell great bikes, but he is a good mechanic and he has all the tools to get your bikes as you want them.
