Langkawi Revisited

Hi all, regulars and newbies to the site,
We will be visiting Langkawi for the the 7th time this October. This time we'll be travelling with a 3 year old and 1 year old. Our experience will therefore be a little bit different to previous visits having the kids in tow! Never really focused much on activitites geared at children, any suggestions? I'm already thinking Cable Car, Croc Farm, Bird Paradise. Please can anyone advise any other activities? Of course, we'll be spending long days on the beautiful beaches and in the pool, but just keen to make sure we don't miss a trick. Thanks in advance.

Also, anyone who's out there currently and visiting Fat Mum and Raymond on Pantai Tengah, please can you pass on a message that Anne and Simon will be with them from late October and very much looking forward to catching up.

Hi - Hope you have a great time! I assume you have visited Underwaterworld/Penguinworld in between Pantai Tengah and Pantai Cenang; our children enjoy it whenever we go - usually save it for a rainy day though. I personally wouldn't bother with the Snake Farm- it is really run down. There is an interesting market - mostly Tshirts, souvenirs, local foods etc. beside Black Sand Beach, which has a nice play area for children - you can also get some terrific peanut brittle there. Make sure you take plenty factor 50 and keep them creamed up!

When you visit Fat Mum & Raymond will you please pass on Aileen & Denis' love & tell them we'll see them sometime next year.  Fat Mum & Raymond have often spoken to us about you & they'll love seeing you again.  Have a great time.
