Can anybody tell me if house furniture (beds, dining tables etc) are available to buy in Langkawi? If so, where? Thanks in advance

Thanks Jeku, Sorry I did not notice the shopping area on the website. SUKAMARI FURNITURE OUTLET dont have an email address but have you any idea what a good king size bed with mattress would cost. If you have their email address maybe you could let me have it. Cheers

No, I really don't know. I just went to the shop, during my visit to Langkawi last December, with a local friend who wanted some things for her shop. I don't remember any prices and I don't have their email address.

hi,
the two best shops are Sukamari and ABC we prefer and recommend Sukamari.You can contact them 04 966 0228.We bought all our beds and mattresses from them as well as lounge furniture.All items very reasonably priced.They are situated on the road to Ulu Melaka on left hand side if your approach is from the Main road into Kuah ( from dual carriageway) and turning towards ULU MELAKA at the first set of traffic lights.They give good service,prompt delivery.PS ask for discount !!!!!!!!!!!!

Oops,
Our main bedroom furniture and dining set was from ABC,but Sukamari best all round store for all types of furniture ( our mattresses and guest bedroom furniture all from Sukamari - likewise our 3 piece suite and lounge furnishings)- but like anywhere you have to keep looking to find items of your personal taste.A lot of items are too intricate/ornate for us .stock changes frequently.
ABC tend to have a casual attitude as to whether your purchased goods arrive without damage and they tend not to have packaging materials to protect them against damage or rain.Insist on goods arriving without damage !
There is only one decent lighting shop - seasons lighting and if you don,t see what you want - then ask.They try to be obliging.
