Hello,
i will visit penang in end of june , and i want to sightseeing in Langkawi too .
i know that there have a Ferry to Langkawi , but i want to know how long and how far of the trip ?
2hours or 3 hours can arrive Langkawi from penang by ferry ?
if take too long time , maybe by flight ?

The ferry leave Penang in the morning and takes around 3 hours to get to Langkawi. From ferry leave around 5 pm from Langkawi back to Penang.

and i want to know the location of ferry pier to Langkawi is that in Georgetown Ferry Terminal?

anyhow, despite this lack of politeness, the place is called Swettenham Pier and it's near the Fort Cornwallis.

The ferry depart from Penang Port. Just tell the taxi that you are going to Langkawi by ferry, you will be there in no time...

no Vennie... the "official" name for it is Swettenham Pier... have personally used it on several occasion the past couple of years... it's also the place where the cruise ships dock... and the ferry to Medan, Indonesia also departs from there.
