Dogs & political situation
« on: May 12, 2008, 07:51:40 PM »

Hi Mark
Thanks for the invaluable information on your site.  We are thinking of relocating from South Africa towards the end of this year. We have two dogs, one a Maltese and the other a Bouvier (big Belgian type dog) - I was just wondering if anyone already relocated can tell me how the dogs (especially the big one) will cope with the heat.  Are vets available in the area at all?
Also, I had a friend recently returning from a fact finding mission and she tells me that the political situation has recently changed, in that you have a new PM.
What is the general feeling amongst the ex-pats on the political situation and will it change anything that has been stable for so long.  I am not a politician, but would like to get some views from your local readers.
Thanks
Drieka & Kim
