The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa was once known as Langkawi Village Resort. This resort attained a sound reputation as a value-for-money property with a superb location along Langkawi's premier beachfront, Pantai Tengah. In the beginning of 2006, Frangipani Hotels & Resorts Sdn Bhd took over the property and set about investing considerable capital to create a deluxe resort befitting its excellent location.
These developments including extensive room refurbishments and new developments like the spa, Tree House Bistro & Bar and new rooms, were completed in late 2006.
Beachside location with superb facilities
The 118-villa resort is a secluded and stylish property located along 400 metres of sandy beachfront at Pantai Tengah. The bungalow and villa-styled accommodation graciously combines with modern amenities to create a relaxed environment in harmony with the natural surroundings. All deluxe garden and deluxe beachfront villas have a semi-outdoor rainforest shower and private balcony.
