THE LANGKAWI INTERNATIONAL MARITIME AND AEROSPACE EXHIBITION (LIMA)
This year, the event makes a grand return to the beautiful resort island of Langkawi .The biannvally event, also known as THE LANGKAWI AIRSHOW is one of Asia-Pacific’s premier showcase for aviation, aerospace and defence. It takes place over four trade and public days and is a meeting point for various Heads of States, military and industry decision makers from the region.
In 2005, the airshow featured over 400 participating exhibitors from over 30 countries. It attracted aviation, aerospace and defence professionals as well as enthusiasts from throughout the world. An estimated 30’000 people visited LIMA’05.
LIMA’07 will feature airborne and aerospace technology, land-based equipment and ground defence technology. Set against an island backdrop with clear blue skies, it presents a unique opportunity to showcase industry products, technology and services to an informed target audience. It will also incorporate conferences for aviation, aerospace and defence professionals.
LIMA’07 is an official event for VISIT MALAYSIA YEAR 2007 and is fully supported by the Malaysian Government.
