| Wow! I just came back from Langkawi and was at the WildLife Park with the family, what an interesting natural ambiance they have. Never had the opportunity to feed the mouse deer as our story books call “San Kancil” so cute and rather tiny. Mr. Iqbal the park keeper told me those two were newly born here too just 2 months old. Saw a 14 foot fresh water crocodile up close, cool. Time for its meal, a staff came with dead chickens hanging on a string and snapped it was gone and a meter high. The pond water splashing all over as the ‘Buaya’ landed again after the fantastic leap. So… so ticklish and fun as the love birds grip my finger and palm with their little feet pecking away the mullet seeds. How amazing when they peel the skin of the ‘sambau’ one at a time, fast too. Had so many pictures taken with my sister & brothers all giggling with so much laughter. The most torturing moment of my life was having the slimy 8 foot Burmese python on the shoulders with its fork tongue tasting the air, mamamia !!! After all that come to think of it, it was an experience worth the ticket fee and mind you no charge for taking photos, good news! We were all trying to get our arms and heads loaded with claws of the White bellied sea eagle and macaws – cacatuas parrot. Luckily for the thick hand gloves and special threads placed on our fore arm as it can be quite sharp. A once in a life time with the Birds of Prey, they are very tame and let you stroke them gently. The vacation was a blast as we enjoyed the WildLife Park thoroughly and finally the massive discounts at the Paradise shop with RM 12 & RM 18 cash voucher to redeem. The whole path way area is covered with tile roofings keeping us safe from the sun & rain too. |
